Premarital Counseling

Why Premarital Counseling?

Marriage is a big deal.  We want to help you get it right.

During the process of premarital counseling, we’ll address some major issues that you’ll face as a married couple. The hope is that the two of you will learn a lot about each other, and maybe even some things about yourselves.

The Details

Most couples will meet six times with their counselor. During your time together, you’ll be going through the topics laid out in our premarital counseling workbook. Each topic will be addressed from a faith-based perspective. Topics include communication styles, conflict management, money, sex, family planning, and a few others.

Each chapter concludes with a few exercises. Please complete each week’s exercises before you meet with your counselor. The goal of these exercises is to identify your differences so you can talk about them now before you’re forced to address them later. Try to look for areas that you’d like to discuss more in-person.

The cost of the program is $250 per couple. You don’t have to attend Community Church to go through our premarital counseling.
